Fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with extensive training in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, sports medicine, and diabetic limb salvage.

About Dr. Torigian

Dr. Andrew Torigian was born and raised in Southeast Michigan. He attended Michigan State University, where he studied Kinesiology — sparking his interest in sports medicine and ultimately a career in podiatry. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from William M. Scholl College at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, graduating in the Pi Delta National Honors Society for his academic achievements.

Dr. Torigian completed his residency at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, gaining extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology and surgery — including forefoot and rearfoot/hindfoot reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and trauma. He continued expanding his love for sports medicine while practicing within the avid skiing, hiking, and mountain biking community Utah offers, and served as Chief Resident during his third year.

He pursued an additional year of fellowship training with Dr. Gregory Anderson in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, gaining mentorship from a surgeon with over 35 years of experience in surgery, practice management, product development, and resident/fellow education. He is excited to bring that depth of training to his patients in New Mexico.
