About Your Surgery

Outpatient surgery means you'll arrive, have your procedure, and return home the same day. Our team works to make every step calm, safe, and clearly explained — so you always know what's coming next.

Before you arrive

A nurse will call you 1–2 business days before surgery to review your medical history, medications, allergies, and any specific instructions from your surgeon or anesthesia provider. Please follow eating, drinking, and medication guidance carefully — it directly affects your safety.

When you check in

Plan to arrive at the time your surgical team specified, typically 1–2 hours before your procedure. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any paperwork your surgeon provided.

After your procedure

You'll recover with a dedicated nurse until you're stable and comfortable enough to go home. A responsible adult must drive you home and stay with you for the first 24 hours.
